Jasmina Al-Qaisi

Jas­mi­na Al-Qaisi is a poet and cul­tur­al cor­re­spon­dent for var­i­ous art pub­li­ca­tions. She writes as she speaks in her own Eng­lish, caught between sound, visu­al poet­ry and cook­ing. She lives in Berlin, hides in the archive of the art and project space SAVVY Con­tem­po­rary and often makes waves on free, inde­pen­dent, tem­po­rary or mobile radios. She recent­ly joined the artis­tic research project Research and Waves and works as a com­mu­ni­ca­tor for the event series Untrain­ing the Ear, focused on diverse modes of lis­ten­ing. https://www.jasminescu.com/

Ralf Wendt

Ralf Wendt works with­in time-based and lit­er­ary arts on the decon­struc­tion of human and ani­mal lan­guage. Since the mid-90s he has the­ma­tised in per­for­mances, films and radio art a poet­ics of the Sub-lin­guis­tic. The con­nec­tion of per­for­mance art with the medi­um of radio led Wendt out of the gal­leries and fes­ti­vals into the world of radio. As a cura­tor of art, music or radio art fes­ti­vals, Wendt brings togeth­er com­po­nents and artists of trans­gres­sion. He shares his expe­ri­ences as an edu­ca­tor in sev­er­al uni­ver­si­ties, com­mu­ni­ca­tion and art schools, and col­lab­o­rates with the Goethe-Insti­tute for facil­i­tat­ing the inter­na­tion­al radio art res­i­den­cy in Halle/ Ger­many.
